Delete your Kano Konvert account

You can delete your Kano Konvert account and the data tied to it here, or in the app: tap Account, then Delete account. Both work the same way.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete your account data: your account record (profile), favorites, rate alert, "who's online" record, your account's free translate count record, and any corrections you suggested that we haven't reviewed yet. Corrections we already approved and published stay in Kano Konvert to improve translations, but they are no longer linked to you. Copies that remain in server logs are deleted within 30 days.

If you have a paid plan

If you don't have an active Monthly or Yearly plan (for example, you're on the free plan or have Lifetime), your account is deleted right away. If you do have an active Monthly or Yearly plan, it won't renew, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for, with no refund for that period (see our Terms of Service). Your account is deleted on the date your plan would have renewed. Three days before that date, we email you the date your account will be deleted, with a Keep my account button. If you press it, your plan turns back on and renews as normal, and your account won't be deleted.

If you only want to stop paying, use Manage subscription instead.

What we keep

Some things we may need to keep, such as payment records for taxes (7 years), or information needed to prevent fraud or follow the law. If you bought Lifetime Premium, we keep the record of that purchase (tied to your Google account's email address) for as long as we offer Kano Konvert, even after you delete your account. If you later sign in again with the same Google account (same email address), we use that record to bring Lifetime back with no new charge, unless that payment was refunded (in full or in part) or disputed (charged back). If your Google account's email address has changed, email support@kanokonvert.com and we'll help restore Lifetime.
